As AVP for the East Region for Cricket, James and his team are responsible for the sales and distribution in the East Region Before his current role, James served as AVP for National Distribution for Cricket and Vice President of Sales Operations for the West Area. Just prior, he was Regional General Manager of the Southwest Region, covering AZ, NV, NM and W. TX. James joined Cricket in 2008 as Area General Manager for the Desert Southwest.

James has more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications and the wireless industry. Before joining Cricket, he led Mohave Wireless, LLC; a partnership between Verizon Wireless, Frontier Communications, and Rio Virgin Telephone Company, representing the managing partner. Before Mohave, James was the Vice President Product and Segment Marketing at CenturyLink, formerly CenturyTel. Also, he has held leadership positions at Horizon Wireless, Palmer Wireless, and Cellutel. During his tenure in the wireless business, James was elected to the CTIA Board for two terms, was a member of the Small Carrier sub-committee and was appointed to the convention committee for the CCA.

James received a BLS from the University of Southern Mississippi in Political Science and Marketing. He and his wife, Connie, live in Canton, GA with their three children.
